Hello all,
I am excited to start this blog. My husband and I are raising 5 beautiful children and are having a blast. I wanted to start a blog to communicate that raising children according to God's standards is the most rewarding endevour that you can embark on. It is my hope that through this blog, others will see Christ in our experiences and be drawn closer to Him.

- I am first and foremost a child of God. I am then a wife and mother of 5 awesome kids. I have been married for 16 wonderful years to my best friend and godliest man that I know. His name is Paul. Our oldest is a 12 year old daughter, then we have 7 year old(boy/girl) twins, a 3 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. I am a licensed Psychologist and own a small behavioral consultation company. In addition to being wife, Mommy and business owner, God has allowed me to be in school, completing my PhD in counseling. I am a student at Wayne State University. God has a plan for this PhD to be used in His kingdom for His work. I am also blessed to be able to write a parenting book. Many of the blog stories will be excerpts from the book. YEAH!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!
You have a nice looking family. I also have 5 children. Must be difficult trying to maintain a budget with five kids, how do you do it?

ReplyDeleteSorry it took so long for a response. I love your screen name. Raising 5 kids is a difficult, but rewarding task. As far as a budget, we have always done the envelope method. But, now were are about to embark on something new. We are signing up for the online version of envelopes. It is called mvelopes and Crown Financial Ministries link right to them. I highly recommend it. Our friends have been using it for years and have been able to remain financially secure and out of debt. I hope this helps.
